5K Color Run

This is how I spent my afternoon. The RAF Running Club got together for their first Color Run here in the UK. Many of us were sporting "Wounded Warrior Project" shirts, by working together we were able to send of $800 to WWP. It is wonderful to be apart of something bigger than oneself. I love this group & I never know what kind of adventure I'm going to end up on with them, but as always I am blessed to be a part of it. 

This bottom picture is one of my favorites from today. From left to right: Jessica, Grant, Logan, Myself and across the middle my daughter Ashlynn. The 5 of us had a great time. Jessica's boys enjoyed picking on Ashlynn's 'fun-size' and she enjoyed using their giant size as wind-blockers. :) It was rather comical. 

This was the first 5K that Ashlynn did with me. I think she did great & I had so much fun sharing this day with her. David however, did not want us touching him or his car!!! Oops! 

He really does love us and our crazy ideas!

Here we all are after the finish, covered in color, laughing, smiling and jumping in the air for the pure fun of it. If you are interested in running, I highly suggest you find a running group/club or friend to run with and start entering some of these fun races! You won't regret it.
