What a day!

I must say I had a great birthday and I got so many lovely messages on Facebook! I started the day off with chocolate & coffee and then spontaneously running to Tesco and picking up this red dress I've been eyeing for the last few days. Thankfully, it fit perfect. Then I rushed back home, put it on, quickly straightened my hair and shot off to Bury to meet my friend Jessica for some shopping and lunch. 

We had a great lunch! Although, we ate it way too close to training time. I kept thinking that walnut cake was gonna reappear. Really glad it didn't. That would have been embarrassing and gross! After training I came home and took a nap - I needed it :) I do love my naps. Then I put my dress back on, again...I'd put it back on after training so David could see it but forgot he was going to Boot Camp. You just can't nap in a dress. After I put it back on I had David take a couple photos, proof of the red and the dress :) Then I immediately put my pjs on and enjoyed the Pepsi & Pizza my husband brought home. Birthday rule: I don't cook on this day.

I also got a couple of awesome birthday gifts today.

• Perfume
• Car stereo thing - that won't work so I'm getting a new stereo. :)
• Pepsi, Pizza and home-made cheesecake by Ashlynn!!!

It was a GREAT day! I felt so happy all day, wonder if I'll feel that way at 43? No idea, but I can't wait to see what all 33 has in store for me. 32 was very memorable and I intend to make sure 33 is too. After my 34th birthday I'll be headed back to the USA. Hard to believe I was 28 when we moved to England. I've learned and grown so much since then.
