I hit it again…a plateau.
That dreaded area that every person on a weight-loss journey hits. The first
time was back in November when the scale did not want to read anything other
than 144. After 2 months it finally moved…or I should say inched its way down. Since
May 1st I’ve been hovering right around 135. Today the magic number
was again 135. Can anyone say “plateau”? J
I will be shaking a
few things up this month and I hope they will pay off, greatly! I knew when I
set out to reach 120 by July 4th it would be a long shot…but why
sell myself short? My main goal as actually been “to be within 10 pounds of my
final goal weight” by July 4th. Then I had to go and get a little ambitious.
Now, however, I’m
aiming to make sure I reach that “with-in” range mark. I’ve just 4 weeks to do
it, so I’m really going to have to work hard and pay very close attention to
every item of food I eat. With that being said I’m going to aim to preplan/precook
all my meals that way I’m not just grabbing this or that because I’m hungry.
Yes, my choices these days are healthier, but sometimes I give into cravings.
There will be NO giving in this month. It is time to get off this plateau.
June plans:

Record everything
you eat & drink.
·
Record
every exercise & calorie burn.
·
Work
out with Naomi, M/W/F – doing Jamie
Eason’s 12-week-trainer program (this is going to be hard)
·
Attend
HIIT every Mon & Friday.
·
Do not
miss a training session (except June 21st-but do not indulge during
Lady’s day either)
·
Indulge
(slightly) June 16th while in Burgee.
·
Run on
Sundays.
·
Take
Saturday’s completely OFF.
·
Wednesday’s
ONLY workout with Naomi – rest of the day is OFF.
·
Sell
more “too big” clothes and save $$$ for the Fashion Makeover July 4th!
·
Clear
clutter from the house; simplify. – Perhaps I’m getting old.
·
Take
vitamins! Stop forgetting!
·

There is probably
more, but for now that’s all I can think of. How many of you are sitting on
this Plateau with me? Well, I say it’s time we got off, what do you say? Any
ideas on how to accomplish that?
